Kishtwar, Apr 21: District Youth President PDP Kishtwar today called upon District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar and apprised him about problems being faced by inhabitants of remote areas of Kishtwar including Marwah, Warwen, Dachhan, Nagseni, Padder, Bunjwah, Chatroo, Chingam and other areas of district Kishtwar for acquiring the disability certificates. Besides, he slammed the Chief Medical Officer Kishtwar for showing casual approach towards issuing disability certificates to the deserving persons. While talking to "Early Times" Wasil Doolwal demanded issuance of disability certificates to handicapped in their respective tehsil headquarters so that the public could not suffer any more. He said that various disabled / handicapped persons are lying on bed from several years, added that they are being forced to visit district headquarter Kishtwar for disablity certificate. "While many areas in Kishtwar District lacks road connectivity and said that it was very difficult for the parents of the disabled and handicapped person to shift them to District Headquarters". He said that CMO Kishtwar fails to constitute the board of doctors which further added to the suffering of the people who often visited District Headquarter, but return disappointed due to non availability of board of doctors. He said that he also held meeting with DSWO Kishtwar Phulail Singh and demanded expediting of cases of disabled persons on priority added that Phulail Singh gives a patient hearing to the issues raised by him. |
