JAMMU, April 21: Hockey Jammu and Kashmir today announced the 18-member women team for the upcoming Junior National Championship to be held at Ranchi in Jharkhand from April 23 to May two.
Earlier, the state team which left for the venue today, is sponsored by the J&K State Sports Council, underwent screening at K K Hakhu Stadium, here. The screening team was comprised of a member, Rashid Ahmed and an official, Rajan Sharma of the Sports Council.
"The team is accompanied by Surjeet Kour and Asha Rani as manager and assistant manager respectively while Jagjit Singh of State Sports Council has been named as coach," informed general secretary of the Association, G S Bakshi. The Team: Jasmeet Kour, Rishika Sharma, Sakshi Sharma, Bindu, Chhittra, Ashu Devi, Anuradha, Priya Thakur, Ishta Sharma, Kamini Devi, Maheeka Maini, Manisha Das, Mannu Sharma, Anjali, Nisam Kazami, Prableen Kour, Aasma Choudhary and Anu Sharma. |
