Delegation meets NCP chief Randhir appreciates CM's efforts to streamline HUDD | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 21 : A delegation from Janipur and Amphalla area today called upon NCP state chief and apprised about the problems being faced by the residents. A delegation of leading social activists and political workers led by R C Bali Chairman NCP Sewa dal, J&K state called on Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh State President NCP J&K and apprised him the chronic sanitation difficulties being faced by the people of Janipur and adjoining areas from Amphalla to Janipur. The delegation raised many issues being faced by the people like frequent traffic jams, failure of electricity, provision of health centres, Municipal parks roads. The delegation appealed to Dy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh who is a incharge of Urban development to intervene and save the project conceived by the Municipality authorities in order to save the Business mall and banks. While addressing the delegation Singh said that the NCP has pledged to expose a mafia comprising of officials and leaders who are responsible for the degradation of conditions of these areas. He appreciated the statement of new chief minister Mehbooba Mufti who has reviewed the functioning of Housing and Urban Development Department with the concerned departments and hope the implementation of Govt of India's decision to provide smart cities throughout the country why not in Jammu-Srinagar, Anantnag and Katra to be immediately declared and work is started. |
