Jammu, Apr 21 : All J&K SBM Employees Association, a representative body of all J&K SBM Employees and affiliated Employees Joint Action Committee organized a protest at press club Jammu. According to press release, Abdul Qayoom Wani besides State President of SBM Ishfaq Ahmad Shah and the leaders of SBM were also present in the protest. Ishfaq Ahmad Shah while addressing the Press showed strong resentment over the delay in issuing regularization orders and pending Salary in favour of SBM employees and other genuine demands. "Nearly 7000 were appointed under the scheme at different levels, viz District Coördinators, Block Coördinators, Panchayat Coördinators (Preraks). The said scheme had been extended by the Govt. of India up to 2017 but it is evident that the District Coördinators. Block Coördinators, Panchayat Coördinators (Preraks) have cross the maximum age limit under the scheme and obliviously will get expired in terms engagement in other department So the future of employees seems to r/e at stake at the behest of this scheme", he said. He also said, they approached the government and higher officials of the concerned department about our regularization in school education department. They appealed that their genuine demands must be considered on priority basis otherwise they would be compelled to go for hunger strike in the month of May 2016. |
