Two inter-state drug peddlers held with 11 kgs Ganja | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 16: Trikuta Nagar police today claimed to have arrested two interstate drug peddlers and recovered around 11 Kgs of Ganja (cannabis) from their possession during a naka checking in the area under the jurisdiction of Trikutanagar police. "Police have identified the arrested as Manish Kumar s/o Nikal Dev Raj of Rampur Dist Veshalli Bihar and Sheru Kumar s/o Late Sujart Singh of Pattna Bihar presently Bari Brahmana sector-4, police said. Police spokesman said that in connection with the operation "Sanjeevni" drive against drugs mafia launched by Dr Sunil Gupta, SSP Jammu, today Trikuta Nagar Police headed by Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria, SHO Trikuta Nagar apprehended above said two drug paddlers at Rajeev Nagar Chowk Narwal, Jammu. Police said that they have recovered approximately 11 Kg narcotic drug (Ganja) from their possession during the search of their belongings. In this regard a case under FIR No 84 /16 u/s 8/20/ NDPS Act has been registered in Trikuta Nagar police station. The arrest was made by Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria, SHO Trikuta Nagar under the close supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli, and SP South Shazad Salaria. |
