After losing proxy war in Kashmir, Pak blames India for Balochistan unrest | Ulta chor kotwal ko dantay! | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 16: In a glaring instance of "Ulta chor kotwal ko dantay" Pakistan Defence Minister, KhawajaAsif, has accused India of "supporting" terrorists and separatists, particularly in restive Balochistan. It seems Pakistan after facing a humiliating defeat in a proxy war which it had launched against India in Kashmir in 1990 has lost the plot and is trying to play the victim card. "Pakistan sponsored terrorists present in Kashmir are on the run and are finding it hard to save their lives as security forces are after them. On the other hand robust counter infiltration grid on the Line of Control (LoC) has foiled the nefarious designs of Pakistan to send in more terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir," said an analyst. He said, "Time has proved that Pakistan has turned into a failed state. Despite India witnessing boom in every sector, Pakistan continues to be the same even in 2016. Pakistan Army and its law enforcing agencies have failed to stop the terrorists from carrying out bomb blasts and attacks in any part of the country." He said, "It's ridiculous that despite Pakistan being fountainhead of terrorism it has started blaming India for the prevailing unrest in the country especially in Balochistan." "Entire world knows that Pakistan has left no stone unturned to foment trouble in Kashmir and made abortive attempts to capture it. Pakistan sponsored terrorists carried out major attacks in India and tried to bleed us in every possible way. It capitalized on our patience and considered our desire for peace as our weakness. If India wanted it could have easily captured Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and destroyed the terrorist training camps functional there," said a retired Army official. He said, "Indian Army doesn't believe in proxy war nor it has any interest in backing terrorists, Indian Army proved it in 1971 Bangladesh war. We openly supported Bangladesh and compelled the Pakistan Army to surrender before us. It seems Pakistan Foreign Minister is unaware about the history." An analyst said, "Pakistani politicians have developed a habit of unleashing baseless propaganda against India. They are trying to hide behind their failures. It's a well established fact that terrorists are ruling the roost and are calling the shots as they have no fear of Pakistan Army and other law enforcing agencies." He said, "The terrorists which Pakistan had groomed for targeting other countries have trained their guns towards the same country and are threatening the very existence of it." |
