YCS holds meeting highlights demand | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, May 16: Youth Civil Society (YCS) today held a meeting under the chairmanship of Imtiaz Salaria in which they highlights demands. During meeting they hoped that the agenda of current government is all around development of state but however far-flung district Poonch is neglected as per practice of past. He said that district hospital and other health centre are lagging both in manpower, medicines and machinery. CT scan machine purchased two years ago has yet to be installed. Medical facilities available to whole district could be judged from the fact that Radiologist, who is mainly responsible for all medical diagnosis is not available. He further demanded that as promised by CM of state Nursing College for Poonch should be granted at earliest. Idea of trade between India and Pakistan was conceived to boost CBMs and provide employment opportunities to youth of region. But youth is still knocking the doors even after two years of registration of firms. He lamented that labour and employment department is to assist unemployed youth to start their own ventures but department is without single penny. Such pathetic conditions require immediate redressal. |
