Rajouri, May 16: A man hanged himself to death in Rajouri while his lover consumed poison and was admitted to hospital in critical condition.
"A man identified as Sumit Sharma,31, of tehsil Nowshera today committed suicide with the 'dupatta' of her lover in her rented accommodation in the town," police sources here said.
They said the girl, who was a college student, also consumed poisonous substance but survived.
"She was rushed to the hospital from where she was referred to a Jammu hospital and her condition was stated to be critical," police added. |
