| Swachh Bharat Pahkwada concluded | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 16 : Power Grid Corporation of India Limited observed Swachh Bharat Pakhwada from May 1st May to 16th in its all offices falling under Northern Region Transmission System-II.
Swachh Bharat Pakhwada was celebrated to further propagate and contribute to "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" .
The objective is to make India a "clean" India by carrying out cleanliness drives for cleaning of roads, pavements in the residential areas, areas surrounding the establishments of POWERGRID and other social network premises.
Above all, the Pakhwada aimed at creating awareness among people about the need for proper sanitation and hygienic facilities.
During this Swachh Bharat Pakhwada, several progra-mmes were organized in various schools and colleges apart from site offices for creating awareness among the general masses, youth , employees and their family members highlighting effects cleanliness has on our lives. |
