Yellow belt grading test held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 16: Grading test was organized at St. Mary's Infant Pre School in which twenty students were examined for upgradation to yellow belt who fared exceptionally well and took their next step towards earning a black belt. According to press release, the coloured belt appraisal was marked by zealous performances by tiny tots who were tested on the basis of fundamental techniques as well as understanding of the principles and theory behind the acquired physical skills. During the course of scrupulous grading, which was conducted by Dhammika Kai Karate Association, students painted a picture of strength, coordination and endurance while showcasing a remarkable display of their abilities in the discipline. The examination was held under the supervision of Sensei Umesh Rekhi, President and Chief Instructor of Dhammika Kai Karate Association, J&K which is affiliated to Amateur Karate-Do Association, J&K and approved by J&K Sports Council. All the students emerged successful after a vehement display of spectacular karate skills and were ceremoniously tied the new belts. It was a wonderous sight to see the tiny tots bubbling with joy while get adorned with newfangled karate belts and savour the taste of grading success. Principal of the school, Sheetal Anthony, congratulated the students for proving their worth by training hard and gaining the necessary skills to move up a level. She also encouraged the students to continue to work hard to earn a black belt. |
