Early Times Report JAMMU, June 15: A two day Quality Enhancement Programme was organized at Vishwa Bharati Public Higher Secondary School in the school auditorium. Resource Person from a reputed school was a Chief Guest. The resource person gave a detailed elaboration of the continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) scheme. Other dignitaries Dr SK Koul (Secretary, Vishwa Bharti School), Prof AN Sadhu (Secretary, Vishwa Bharti College of Education), R L Tikoo (Treasurer) and B L Saraf (retired Session Judge) were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the School Prof Annapurna Koul emphasised on the objective of the workshop. Furthermore, Dr S K Koul appreciated the speakers who planned and took pains to make the programme a success while A N Sadhu suggested the teachers to take into consideration comprehension, command, content, retention, inquisition, communication, body language and eye to eye contact while teaching. He also stressed that a teacher should play a social and psychological role. Apart from this, an interactive session between resource person and faculty members was also witnessed in which the query like how CBSE imparts a value education was answered. |
