| Police book 11 persons in attempt to murder case | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, June 15: Rajouri police on Tuesday have booked 11 persons including two brothers in an attempt to murder case under the jurisdiction of Manjakot police station.
Police said that two neighbor families headed by Talib Hussain Domal and Fazal Hussain in village Kalali under Manjakot police station have long pending dispute over a piece of land.
In the past many physical scuffles had taken place between both the families. On Tuesday when Muzzafar Hussain son of Talib Hussain was working in the fields he was attacked by about eleven persons led by Mohd Irfaq and Mohd Farooq sons of Fazal Hussain reportedly with lathis and sharp edged weapons.
Muzzafar was injured seriously in the attack and was rescued by the villagers and family members who reached the spot after alarm raised by the victim.
The police was informed in the afternoon by the victim's family and a police party was rushed to the village.
After legal formalities, Muzzafar was brought to hospital at Manjakot and following medical examination doctors referred him to district hospital as he had received head injuries.
Police have registered a case FIR No52/2016 against the 11 accused including two sons of Fazal Hussain under sections 307 (attempt to murder), 336 (act endangering life), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 147 (rioting), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) &452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault) RPC.
Inspector Mohd Younis, SHO said that police have started investigation in this matter after registering FIR against the accused. |
