Early Times Report RAMBAN, June 15: District Development Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Aijaz today convened a high level meeting at Ramban and reviewed the arrangements made for the ensuing smooth conduct of Shri Amar Nath Yatra 2016. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ramban Randeep Kumar, ADC, Babu Ram, ACR, Vevaik Puri, CPO, Parshotam Kumar, SDMs, Deputy Director F&E Services, 2 I/C 84 Bn CRPF, Surinder Singh Rana,Dy.SP Traffic Kameshwar Puri, Xens PWD, PHE, Langer organizations, district officers of different departments and officers of all security agencies, representatives of National Highway Authorities of India, four laning projects and NGO were present in the meeting. During the meeting, DDC directed langar organizations to install CCTV cameras at the Langar sides, ensure hygienic quality and condition of eatables and langar sites, adequate sanitation and fire safety arrangements. He further impressed upon them to provide Life Insurance cover to their Sewadars (workers) besides ensuring that there is no use of polythene bags, plastic material, tobacco, gutkha and liquor in langar areas. He directed representatives of NHAI to display the sign boards of important contact numbers and information along the National highway. The langar organizations were directed to follow the standard operating procedures to ensure smooth service in langar areas. DDC also reviewed security and traffic arrangements made enroute NHA1. SSP Ramban gave the brief and assured that all security arrangements have been made upto the mark and Dy SP Traffic also appraised the chair about regulation of traffic during yatra period. |
