NPP criticizes Govt over release of stone pelters | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 6: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today criticized government over release of stone pelters, who protested against India, raised anti -India slogans and attacked Indian Army. According to press release, Adv Pushvinder Singh, Senior Vice-President of Young Panthers, condemned the move of PDP-BJP government to categorise the anti-national stone pelters of Kashmir province and the pro-India youth of Jammu province who took to the streets after their religious sentiments were hurt by the then government by denying the land for providing facilities for Amarnath Yatris during the famous Amarnath Yatra in 2008. Pushvinder expressed dismay over the inordinate delay caused by the BJP-PDP government in withdrawing cases against the people of Jammu region, were booked during the 2008 Baba Amarnath Land Row despite written assurance of the government to withdraw the same. He said that withdrawal cases against the anti-national elements of Kashmir province will further boost their morale to hold anti-national activities and demoralize the army fighting there and sacrificing their valuable lives in the hands of these stone pelters. They demanded that criminal cases against all the Amarnath Land Row agitators must be immediately withdrawn and the orders whereby the cases against the anti-national stone pelters have been withdrawn may be immediately revoked. Young Panthers, Provincial Secretary, Atul Sudan, District President, Clinton Sharma and others were also present on the occasion. |
