Jammu, July 6: A 'notorious' land grabber and criminal-turned-politician is alleged to have successfully utilised the services of a cabinet minister to get an Inspector posted as the SHO of a police station here.
The police Inspector is related to him.
After the alleged land grabber persuaded the cabinet minister to get the Inspector posted as SHO of a police station, he, in turn, spoke to senior police officers, police sources said.
The senior officers obliged the minister and posted the Inspector as SHO of a police station here, sources informed. The alleged land grabber had spoken to the minister to the instance of the Inspector, who had assured him full support in the areas under his jurisdiction, sources alleged.
