| BJP MP starts mass contact programme to corner party ministers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 6: After convening review meeting of the Power Development Department (PDD), BJP Lok Sabha member Jugal Kishore Sharma has started mass contact programme as part to control the damages being caused by the incompetent party ministers due to their anti people policies.
BJP leadership has realised that party ministers have already done huge damage so there is need to start an exercise to pacify anger people. Apart from directing party leaders to review functioning of various departments of BJP ministers, BJP high-command has asked senior leaders to start mass contact programme. Aim of these programmes is to take party ministers to task.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, alongwith Samba MLA Dr. Davinder Manyal, undertook an extensive tour of village Lyani Baguni, where they interacted with the local people, listened to their problems and later addressed a massive gathering.
The people expressed their concern over the condition of road leading to their village besides lack of basic amenities and the MP and the MLA assured that whatever has been brought into their notice would be taken seriously and the people will get respite soon. Jugal also announced rupees two lakh for restoration of dug well for the benefit of the local population.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that many areas of Samba constituency remained neglected during the previous government and the then MLA also did not care to work for development and welfare of the people.
Earlier, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Dr. Davinder Manyal, Rural Prabhari Nand Kishore and District President Jangbir Singh Chiku garlanded the portrait of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee and paid their rich tributes to this great Indian patriot.
Paying his tributes, Jugal said that the party is remembering Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee today for his supreme sacrifice which he made while agitating against the provision of separate flag, separate constitution, separate post of Prime Minister and practice of obtaining permit to enter this state. He said Dr. Mookherjee did set a mission for full integration of this state with the rest of the country and we have to fulfill his dream. |
