| IWC felicitates teachers with NB Award | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 29: Inner Wheel Club (IWC) Jammu on Friday felicitated five teachers of districts of Samba and Jammu with Nation Builder Award participated in E-Learning training which was organized Education Department Samba.
The event was held at Government High School Meen Sarkar at Vijaypur in Samba premises wherein IWC President Meena Jaggi has awarded ZEO Purmandal and the teachers with mementos. The teachers who received award were Charanpreet Kour of Middle School Smailpur, Raghubir (of Primary School Karta, Ritu Chib of Primary School Suchani Talab, Kawaljeet Kour of Middle School Dodli Gujjar Colony Samba and ZEO Purmandal Zarina Sheikh. The awarded teachers were felicitated by the Inner Wheel Club Jammu for the contribution in the field of education.
Meena Jaggi while speaking on the occasion described the role of a teacher as that of nation builders and true role models for students. She said that such awards not only appreciate work of the teachers but their profession as well. "These awards helps to give them due recognition in the society and would inspire other teachers to perform well," he added.
Club Member Pooja Malhotra further said that educationists should understand and laud the important role that the teachers play in the overall development of the society.
Club Member Santosh Gupta, Preeti Gandok, Navneet Kour, Surinder Sudan, Kamal Sudan, Trainer B.D Shastri, Mohammad Mehboob and others were also present on the occasion. |
