DC Reasi flags off cleanliness drive under 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' 9/30/2016 11:16:20 PM Early Times Report Reasi, Sept 30: In the ongoing cleanliness driver keep the area in the neighbourhood clean, as a part of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' initiative of the Government of Indi, National Cadet Corps (NCC) of 2 J&K Boys Battalion of Higher Secondary School Reasi today launched a cleanliness drive in Reasi. Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ravinder Kumar along with Chief Education Officer (CEO) Reasi , Vinod Soni flagged off the drive today which was launched on September 26 and will conclude on 2nd of October. During the drive, around 50 cadets of 2 J&K Boys Battalion of Higher Secondary School Reasi under the supervision of Associate NCC Officer, Amit Gupta cleaned the area with brooms and by removing the weeds. Volunteers of the NCC during the driver under the slogan of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' were instilled about sanitation and healthy life style. On the occasion, massive Cleanliness drive was launched in which the NCC Cadets along with AssociateNCC officer made their commitment to keep the area neat and clean. The NCC Volunteers of Higher Secondary School (Boys) Reasi collected polythene wrappers and other rudiments lying on the road while Sports Stadium Reasi, Cremation Ground, Bus Stand Reasi, Kalka Temple Reasi and Seela village were cleaned in the drive.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
