NSF starts state-wide membership drive from CUJ 10/26/2016 9:41:08 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26: The National Secular Forum (NSF) today launched a state-wide membership drive from Central University Jammu. The membership drive was formally launched by state President of the NSF Dr Vikas Sharma in the presence of a large number of students. Impressed by its pro-students policies and struggle for the rights of the student community in the educational institutions across the state, at least 200 Students from Central University of Jammu (CUJ) Wednesday embraced National Secular Forum (NSF) under the chairmanship of Neeraj - Incharge NSF CUJ. Addressing media persons here today, Vikas Sharma said, in 2016 the NSF was going to make 30,000 new members from J&K. The membership drive would be from Oct 26 to November 26 and November 15 would be the maximum membership day. Dr. Vikas Sharma State President National Secular Forum while welcoming the student into the forum said that it is a matter of pride as the students in huge numbers today turned up and joined the National Secular Forum. Since its very formation National Secular Forum has fought for the rights of the student community and is committed to continue its struggle at highest level to provide student friendly atmosphere in the educational institutions. He promised to stand shoulder to shoulder with the student community in fight against any kind of injustice and to ensure that the authorities do not oppress the voice of Students.
