Stop pursuing anti-Jammu policies: VHP stalwart tells BJP's Jaichand | 'We can dislodge coalition in JK whenever we want' | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26: A senior BJP minister, who has earned the notorious character of "Jammu's Jaichand" was taken to task by senior leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) for pursuing anti-Jammu and anti-Hindu policies in the State. In the closed door one to one meeting, which lasted for an hour, the VHP stalwart, who was in Jammu days back, bluntly told the senior BJP minister that national level leadership of the VHP has potential to dislodge coalition government in J&K. Credible sources in the corridors of powers said that during his visit to Jammu some days back, the VHP stalwart was shocked when some local leaders gave him authentic proofs about corrupt practices and misdeeds of the BJP ministers in the coalition regime. Local leaders also brought to the notice of the VHP leader that police officers, who are known for their involvement in bovine smuggling, have been posted on important position in Jammu- thanks to a businessman who is very close to senior BJP minister. Local leaders said that SHO of one of the police station of city, who had brutally beaten Bajrang Dal workers without any reason, is being shielding for the said businessman. Credible sources said that some local leaders informed VHP leader that businessmen, power brokers and touts are running the ministries being held by the BJP ministers and they are openly auctioning plum postings in different departments. Credible sources said that stunned by the convincing proofs provided to him by the local leaders, the VHP stalwart called senior BJP minister for one to one meeting. No other leader was allowed in the meeting and the senior BJP minister was taken to task to the VHP leader. The minister was warned that for the power they have virtually surrendered everything so it would be better to protect Jammu's dignity. The senior BJP minister was also warned against allowing his close confident businessmen to openly auctioned important posts in civil and police administration. The VHP leader, credible sources said, made it clear to the BJP minister that they have power to dislodge the present anti-Jammu government. The VHP leader took the minister to task for his failure to get the "Jazia", imposed on the pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi, revoked. |
