SaMaPa condoles demise of legendary singer Raj Begum 10/26/2016 9:41:19 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26: Sopori Academy of Music And Performing Arts (SaMaPa )and Sopori family condoled the sad demise of the legendary singer of Jammu and Kashmir State Raj Begum here today in special meeting. According to press release, Music legend Pt. Bhajan Sopori said that it was not only a loss to Jammu and Kashmir but also to the entire music World. "Smt. Raj Begum, with her unique style of singing, sung numerous songs in different styles like Ghazal, Geet, Chakri and Rouf, which will be remembered by the listeners forever." She reigned supreme in the field of Kashmiri folk music for more than four decades.
