| Fee medical camp organized at Sarna | | |

Samba, Oct 26: : A free medical camp organized at village Sarna- a remote village in Samba district here today in which besides the Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr Bias Dev, Senior Eye Surgeon Dr Sanjay Kai and Physcian Dr. Vinay Sambyal from Medical College Jammu participated in the camp.
Accoding to press release, the focus was on health awareness, Anaemia, Hypertension, Diabetes detection and Catract detection. During camp approximately 200 patients of various ailments were examined and medicines were provided to them free of cost. The eye surgeon has promised to undertake the cataract surgeries of the needy which were detected at the camp.
On the occasion, 100 tests were conducted for detecting Anaemia and all females and children were found to be Anemic in this camp.
A lecture about general health care was delivered by Dr Sanjay Kai and Dr Bias Dev and they told the ways to prevent the preventable diseases. |
