Little Millennium children celebrate Deepavali with specially abled 10/26/2016 9:46:53 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26:The Little angels of Little Millennium, Pre Schools Roop Nagar and Gandhi Nagar Jammu celebrated Deepavali with Joy of Giving at Bal Ashram Amphalla Jammu . During the preceding week special sessions were held by Priyanka Learning Officer for sensitizing the little ones to the importance of contributions in the society especially towards the under privileged sections.. The children of the school contributed by way of stationary, eatables, candles, sweets and other usable items for the children of Bal Ashram. Today the preschool children of Roop Nagar and Gandhinagar centres visited the Bal Ashram at Amphalla Jammu and celebrated the Joy of Giving with the lesser privileged children. Akhila Magotra Chief Learning Officer of the school while elaborating the importance of celebrating the festival explained that the essence of the festival was to bring smiles on the faces of economically deprived children besides inculcating moral values in the students of their school. She said that today's world is fast becoming a 'Materialistic World' where there is a blind race to acquire more and more. 'It is not Need' but 'Greed' that is leading us in a race called 'life' which is fast becoming devoid of all sublime values. Little Millennium Pre Schools at Roop Nagar and Gandhi Nagar promoted by M/S Educomp Childcare Pvt. Ltd. and specialize in the elementary education of children in the age group of 1.5 to 6 yrs.
