Jammu, Oct 26: The 17th executive meet was held between office bearers of SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ).
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of its President at Main Campus Chatha, Jammu in which several agendas pertaining to the association and teaching fraternity were discussed. Addressing the meeting he said that for the smooth functioning of TAJ, Dr. Rohit Sharma, Jr. Scientist (Agronomy) will act as new executive from Research Station Bhaderwah, KVK Doda and Maize Research Centre, Udhampur.
He further informed that Dr. Rohit was elected via secret ballot conducted yesterday at Bhaderwah Station. He also urged the Coaltion Government to look into the issue for the sanction of much required faculties of SKUAST-J that will strengthen the only farm/professional varsity of region .
The meeting was attended by Dr. Susheel Sharma-Adivsor, Dr. Vivek. M. Arya-General Secretary, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rai-Joint Secretary, Dr. Devinder Sharma-Publicity Secretary, Dr. Rajeev Bharat-Treasurer, Dr. Jai Kumar, Dr Anil Bhat, Dr. Brijesh Ajarawat, Dr. Amitesh Sharma, Dr. Vinod Gupta and other executives of the association. |
