Demand elections students hold protest 10/26/2016 10:51:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 26: National Conference Students Union (NCSU) and NSA today held protest against University of Jammu for not conducting elections of student unions. According to press release students led by Sahil Singh Jamwal and Abhinandan Sharma held a protest demonstration against non-conductance of students' union elections. There was a class boycott of classes in whole campus and later raising the slogans against administration assembled near VC's chamber. Addressing student outside VC's chamber, Sahil said that election is important in democracy, but unfortunately, the University administration is violating constitutional rights of students. "VC has imposed his dictatorship on students' rights", he added. Abhinandan in his address said that if their demand of conducting the elections is not exceeded too.
