Another scam surfaces in ICA Samba 10/26/2016 11:01:22 PM Early Times Report Samba, Oct 26: Another scam has surfaced In Handloom Complex Samba, Industrial Corporation Association Samba (Apex). When the shops were created in Handloom Complex Samba in first floor, the present committee has two shops had for its weavers. At that time, Committee constructed 14 shops in first floor and then 12 Shops were allotted to people for business and two Shops for its own weavers. Not only this that time the existing Committee created the agreement wrote in clear words no more than one shop could be allotted to same person and any customer. In the agreement, the registered owner of the shops cannot not sold shops to another person. But after the new committee came into being, the old agreement was set aside in Handloom Complex Samba,as several consumers have sold the shops in first floor. In the greed of big amount the new committee members sold two shops to other weavers, due to which the actual weavers have no Shop to keep their stuff. According to sources, a few members of the Apex body Samba too has purchased a Shop for themselves on each floor in the name of another person. Sources said that the few members of the Apex ICA Samba are serving in various department and their wives work as managing director in ICA Samba. Vikesh Amba a local from Samba said that few days back the Deputy Director of the Handloom department visited ICA office and checked the record. But that visit only was eye wash to the people of Samba.
