Residential house gutted in fire 10/26/2016 11:02:33 PM Early Times Report Banihal, Oct 26 : A residential house caught fire in Krawa Mahala of Banihal and maximum house hold items and roof of the house was reduced to ashes. Reports said that on Wednesday in broad daylight a residential house of one GH Mohammad Chopan caught fire due to the electric short circuit. After the incident the nearby villagers and neighbors rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation. This correspondent of Early Times when got the information of fire informed the fire and emergency services Banihal including SHO Banihal. Both the teams of fire services with fire fighting vehicles also rushed to the spot. But the house was for away from the road, they also join the locals and controlled the fire manually. In this fire incident the owner of the house lost the house hold material and the ornaments and other bride dress and material of his daughter who was being going to be married after twenty days. SDM Banihal, Tehsildar Banihal and police officers also reached the spot and assured the house owner that they will try their best to provide some relief according to norms. The locals control the fire and save the other houses nearer to this house, however they could not save this single story house.
