POONCH, Nov 1: Anuj clinched the Sub-junior boys' singles title after he trounced Safwan in straight sets 11-09, 11-06 in the final which was part of the ongoing 26th District Table Tennis Championship at Government Degree College complex, here today.
Meanwhile, in the men's singles event, semifinals line up has been drawn with Salil Raina, Faisal, Vaishav and Sandeep making it to the last four stages. Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played today, Salil Raina beat Hasan 11-07, 11-09 while Faisal outplayed Wajid 11-09, 11-09. In other quarterfinals, Vaishav beat Marshal and Sandeep downed Propkar 11-09, 11-09.
