Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 1: A 'blue-eyed' officer is alleged to have been posted as SSP of a district on the recommendation of a 'senior' police officer. To ensure his posting, the senior officer had himself spoken to some ministers and the home department authorities, police sources said. Before his placement as the district SP, he held an important post in the administrative section of the senior officer's office. He remained quite controversial during his stay there for allegedly violating norms while managing good postings of his nears and dears. No one in the department ever dared to object to the orders issued by him, sources said. Sources said though his senior could not manage his posting in the district of his choice on the intervention of a minister at the eleventh hour, the authorities concerned posted him in another district, ignoring other senior officers who too were in the queue to get posted there. "Soon after his posting as district SP, he has started attracting criticism for failing to observe the organisational norms and acting arbitrarily, bypassing his immediate seniors," sources alleged, adding that he was directly reporting the matters to the 'senior' officer.
