Jammu, Nov 1: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from Oct 31 to Nov 5 in its all offices falling under Northern Region Transmission System-II. During the Vigilance Awareness Week, several programmes are being organized in various schools and colleges apart from site offices for creating awareness among the general masses, youth , employees and their family members highlighting evils of corruption and its impact on our society. At its NRTS-II Regional Headquaters, Jammu pledge was administered to all its employees by the executive director, Anil Jain. He impressed upon the employees to practice the virtues of integrity and honesty in all spheres of their lives. Messages of President of India, Vice President of India , Prime Minister of India , Home Minister of India were read out by S D Joshi, General Manager (Projects), B Dash DGM (Finance), S J Sharma, DGM (C&M) & R Narayan, Chief Manager(HR) respectively. Message released by Central Vigilance Commissioner K V Chowdary, vigilance commissioners Rajiv and T M Bhasin on behalf of Central Vigilance Commission was read out by Sudhir Dhar, Manager (Vigilance), A signature campaign to propagate the virtues of honesty and promote integrity was also launched by Anil Jain, executive director in which all employees participated. An inter-school essay competition at Army Public School, Jammu Cantt was also organised to create awareness among students against menace of corruption as per the directives of Central Vigilance Commission. |
