Pak Firing: Ambulances without fuel, DC Poonch orders inquiry | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Nov 1: Despite specific instructions to concerned officials to make ambulances ready to shift injured due to cross border firing, the case of ambulance without fuel at PHC Dhargaloon of Poonch makes all claims of administration to fall flat. In a shocking revelation, it was found that the ambulances parked near border areas to fetch the injured to nearby hospitals are not ready to meet the emergency situation as they are devoid of any fuel. Local reports from Poonch alleged that ambulances kept at PHC Dhargaloon for border victims for utter display. "The incident came to light when an injured namely Bhagwan Das was to be shifted to nearby hospital but they were surprised when they found ambulance at PHC Dhargaloon with empty tank. "As the ambulance driver came, he informed that he can't shift injured as ambulance doesn't have any fuel, locals said, adding as it was an emergency and they managed immediately." Surprised and shocked over the incident, the irked locals reported the matter to the DC Poonch who immediately has ordered an inquiry over the issue. |
