Jammu, Nov 26: On the instructions of Manmohan Singh (KAS) Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation Jammu and under the supervision of R.S. Jamwal (KAS) Joint Commissioner (Administration), the enforcement staff sealed two shops constructed by Aditya Dogra at 74 D/C Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and also a showroom of Duck Back at 34 D/C Gandhi Nagar, Jammu under section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988 as the said shops and showroom have been raised in the rear set back area unauthorizedly and in violation of the land use of the area from residential to commercial one. The said illegal constructions seriously effect the planned development of Jammu City and contravene the zoning regulation. The sealing operation has been conducted with the help of Police Force from District Police Line, Jammu.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation again appeals to the General Public to refrain from making encroachments and unauthorized constructions / Conversion in violation of land use and warned for strict action as admissible under rule / in case of any violation. |
