The sacrifices made by the Guru Gobind Singh ji and his family are unparallel in the history of mankind. The teachings of Guru Gobind Singh are the most relevant today and the best homage to Guru Gobind Singh ji is to follow His teaching religiously said Thakur Randhir Singh said the 350th Prakash Parv (also Prakash Utsav) or birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh ji is to be celebrated in January 2017 in Patna, 2017 is the year of the 350th anniversary of the 10thSikh Guru, a spiritual master, warrior, poet and philosopher.Mr Singh further said the 10thSikh preceptor, Guru Gobind Singh ji, is known to the world as the warrior-saint. But not many outside the Sikh faith are aware that he wrote 17 verse collections that are part of the 'Dasam Granth' - a separate religious text from the Guru Granth Sahib.
