BSF jawan injured in Pak firing on LoC in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 2: A BSF jawan today got injured in cross border on Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. "One Constable of BSF deployed at forward location at LOC in BG sector Rajouri this morning sustained an injury due to single round fire from Pak side," official sources here today said. They said that injured jawan was hospitalized and his conditions is stated to be stable. Reports said that On November 30, jawan identified as Subedar Deewan Singh of JAT regiment had a narrow escape when the sharp shooter of Pakistan army opened fire from a sniper gun on him from their Bakri forward post while manning the Hathi post in Gulpur sector in Poonch district. Subedar Deewan Singh had a narrow escape and was injured due to splinters and was rescued to the army hospital by his colleagues and the soldier is stable now. "Today at about 10 am Pakistani sharp shooters aimed at sepoy Krishan Khalkar with a sniper rifle while manning a forward post on the LoC in Keri sector in Rajouri district, sources added. After November 23, as per Pakistan media reports, three Pakistani soldiers including captain Taimoor Ali Khan were killed and several were injured in heavy retaliatory firing from Indian side. "However, Pakistani soldiers with the help of its BAT (Border Action Team) team members desperately trying to struck a big blow to take the revenge of the killings of their soldiers and civilians" said a reliable source. Indian army/ BSF is at the highest alert along the Line of Control (LoC) to foil any such attempt by the Pakistani soldiers/BAT team and to give befitting reply to any such misadventure. |
