| At Udhampur candle march, Lal Singh seeks CBI probe | | Rassana rape, murder case | |  Arun Jasrotia

Udhampur, Apr 25: Former Forest Minister Ch Lal Singh took out a candle march here in Udhampur today and sought Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe and narco test in the Kathua Rape and Murder case. Large number of people participated in the the candle march which started from MH Chowk and culminated at Gole Market.
While addressing the gathering, he said there was a conspiracy behind the crime branch investigation. He said the Jammu people have already rejected the crime branch investigation. "Why were Kashmiri officers entrusted the investigation of the sensitive case?" he questioned. He said Jammu officers are equally capable.
"Truth will come out only when a CBI probe is ordered," he made clear.
He said some people tried to defame the Jammu Dogras but failed. "We are fighting for a CBI probe and will take our struggle to its logical end. "Why are authorities afraid of a narco test," he questioned. |
