Justice in Rasana case not possible without CBI probe: MPEJ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 25: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice (MPEJ) in a press release issued here, said that with one more officer associated with CB probe in to the Rasana case having been found to be tainted and suspended in the past for his alleged doubtful role, the justification for the people's demand for CBI probe gets further strengthened. They further said that there is every possibility that some innocents might suffer heavily if the report of the Crime Branch is treated as final. There are many loop holes in it which the general public of the area wants to be re-investigated by CBI. Many times it has happened that some persons declared as offenders by the local police have been found innocent by the CBI. MPEJ members emphatically demand that the victim must get justice and real culprits must be severely punished but no politics should be played on her death. A victim is victim and not Muslim or Hindu, similarly, offenders are also offenders and not Hindus or Muslims. We strongly ask for public hanging of the murderers in this case. |
