| Parents of deceased raise questions, demand justice | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 25: Parents of a woman who died reportedly under mysterious circumstances in the house of her in-laws on March 17, have raised aspersions over the post-mortem report and demanded justice.
Sources said that a woman namely Lila Devi of village Kanthal of Bani was found dead in the house of her in-laws and was shifted to the district hospital Bani where she was declared as brought dead.
Parents of the deceased alleged that there were multiple injuries on the body of the deceased while one tooth was also dislocated and the doctors in their post-mortem only stated that she had died due to consumption of some poisonous substance.
They further alleged that she was tortured and later in-laws forcefully poisoned her. |
