MENDHAR, May 22: People of Pathanateer and adjoining areas called off their strike today after the assurance given by the senior PDP leader Advocate Mohammad Maroof Khan along with team to visited at Pathanateer today. He assured the people that he will take up their genuine demand with the education minister and will apprise him of the hardship being faced by the students who go to HSS Chhatral for continuing their studies. Khan also congratulated the people for the sanction of campus of central university at Danna Shah Sattar by the coalition government particularly personal interest of the chief minister. He made it clear that if university campus is sanctioned due to the struggle of NC MLA Mendhar then why despite maximum area that is earmarked for university campus is from tehsil Mendhar, the name of university is Surankote campus of central university rather it should have been Mendhar campus of Central University. On this occasion he also highlighted the achievements of the PDP lead coalition government particularly road connectivity, health facilities etc. |
