"We are here for many hours. No one came forward to offers us chairs in this sweltering. The authorities concerned chose to appease the BJP workers and ignored the students," some girl students told Early Times. The students said they were invited to the function with an objective to get some knowledge and awareness regarding the biological diversity. "If the authorities wanted to please the BJP workers, they shouldn't have invited us and left us in this scorching heat without any seating arrangement," said the students.
