| For DDC Pulwama, Srinagar has its own Government! | | |  Ashwani Sharma

UDHAMPUR, May 22: In a grave blunder the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama has over looked the very name of the State he is working in.
In a meeting notice regarding the District Development Board (DDB) meeting name of Jammu and Kashmir State has been written as Srinagar and Kashmir.
The notice flagged as 'Urgent' stated that the District Development Board meeting for Pulwama is scheduled for May 23 ( Wednesday) at 10:00 am in the District Administrative Complex, Pulwama where the Works Minister will chair the meeting. The notice has gone viral on social media like Facebook, whatsapp etc and all the concerned officers in bureaucracy are tight lipped over the gaffe.
It is pertinent to mention here that at many times people especially in Jammu region have objected to state of Jammu and Kashmir being referred tom as 'Kashmir' even in official communications. |
