| Man held for carrying cell phone in Kot Bhalwal jail | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 22: Jail authorities today detained a person hailing from Banihal for carrying a cell phone hiding in shoes when he was going to meet a prisoner lodged in Kot Bhalwal jail in militancy related case.
Police sources said that person namely Manjoor Ahmed of Banhial today went to meet life prisoner in militancy related case namely Abdul Wahid Naik of Chambalbad Banhial lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail.
Sources in the Kotbhalwal jail said that during frisking in jail a cell phone which was hidden by Manjnoor in one of his shoes was recovered.
After preliminary questioning, jail authorities handed over him to Gharota police station for further questioning. |
