Jammu, July 8: Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust (PNBMT) organised a meeting of the leaders of the various KP organizations and leading members of the society. Chairman PNBMT Shiban Khaibri, Sundri Lal Koul Secretary PNBMT, Kashmiri Lal Bhatt and Virender Raina were also present in the meeting. The meeting was held to review the progress relating to the passage of the all important Kashmiri Hindu Temples and Shrines Bill and also to seek further suggestions and guidance from the leading community figures in order to create a definitive plan of action for the successful navigation of the Temples Bill. K.K.Khosa while speaking in the meeting expressed serious concern regarding the condition of the temple and shrine properties in Kashmir. He expressed shock and dismay at the manner the temple properties have been allowed to get dwindled and vandalised in the Kashmir valley ever since the exodus of the KPs from Kashmir. He also suggested for reorientation of the strategies to derive positive results. In the meeting the members of the PNBMT apprised the gathering about the recent initiatives of the trust. The leadership of the Trust disclosed that in the days to come the members of the PNBMT would be meeting all the important functionaries and lawmakers and particularly the officials of the present dispensation in the state and also to explore the possibilities for bringing an ordinance on the Temples and Shrines Bill in Kashmir.
