| Sympathizers siphon off Funds collected in Rassana victim's name | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 8: Proceedings in the Pathankot Court on Rassana case has established the allegations that huge funds were collected by some self styled supporters of the victim to give justice to the deceased girl and to provide financial help to the family of the victim but all the funds have been swindled by the fake 'social activists'.
Credible sources revealed that an amount between 1 crore to 1.5 crore was collected by the so-called sympathizers of Rassana victim but this amount has not reached to the family of the victim as they have not only swindled this huge amount but also managed security and protocol from the government by projecting themselves as crusaders for females' and children right. Credible sources said that since February this year, these so-called social activists have been collecting funds in the name of justice to Rassana victim but the amount collected in the name of poor girl was never reached to the family of the victim. Sources further revealed that these self-styled social activists have also received funds from some anti-national elements to create communal divide in otherwise peaceful Jammu region by openly giving communal colour of the heinous crime.
"There are several partners of this illegally collected booty who had shamelessly fueled the issue by publishing picture of the victim and disclosing her name and religion only to put Jammu on fire", sources said. |
