| Amarnath pilgrim dead, six injured in road accident in Qazigund | | | Agencies
An Amarnath yatri died and six others were injured after their vehicle met with an accident in Qazigund area of south Kashmir on Monday.
Reports said that the vehicle carrying yatris was heading towards Srinagar from Jammu when the mishap took place on Srinagar-Jammu highway, resulting into death of one yatri and injuries to six others.
The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment where from one of the critically injured was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
The deceased was identified as Vivod Mahajan, son of Sunder Mahajan, a resident of Ludhiana in Punjab.
