| Ex-minister Jugal Kishore expresses grief over loss of lives in Siar Baba | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 15: Senior Congress leader and former minister Jugal Kishore Sharma has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in an unfortunate land slide incident at Siar Baba waterfall in district Reasi. Jugal Kishore Sharma, former MLA from Reasi Assembly constituency, has conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and wished early recovery to those who sustained injuries in the unfortunate incident.
Jugal Kishore Sharma while terming the Siar Baba incident as nature's fury said it is regrettable that the District Hospital (DH), Reasi was ill-equipped to treat the injured persons. Blaming the previous state government, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that despite repeated reminders the then ruling dispensation did not respond to overcome the dearth of staff in the hospital. He said there are reports that following today's tragic incident at Siar Baba, the injured people were rushed to the DH, Reasi for treatment but unfortunately the adequate number of doctors were not present there due to which most of the wounded had to be shifted to Jammu. |
