Jammu, Oct 10: West Pakistani Hindu Refugee Front (WPHRF) distributed Blankets to Poor Families living in the Border Areas at Pargwal. According to press release WPHRF held a meeting of West Pakistani Refugees at Village Pindi, Pargwal and distributed blankets amongst poor families of the village under the Chairmanship of Hony Sub Maj Madan Lal Dubgotra, President WPHRF in collaboration with Special Atni Crime Team and Welfare Society J&K in presence of Sanjeev Adgotra, President SACTWS, Master Dev Raj, Vice President, Seema Jan Kalyan Samiti, J&K and Samsher Singh, Nambardar of the village Pindi and Tehsil Purgwal. Addressing the people, President WPHRF said that West Pakistani Hindu Refugees are suffering for the last 69 years for Permanent Residents Status as such lacking other facilities and privileges connected with day to day life. He said that now when the BJP presented a Bill for grant of permanent Resident ship to WPHR in previous session, the NC and Congress party opposed the same because these parties are not in favour of granting permanent Residentship to WPHR. Dubgotra pleaded the entire Hindus to unit and support the West Pakistani Refugees of 1947 to intensify their struggle towards grant of Permanent Resident Status of J&K State, as they are residing in Jammu Region of J&K since 1947 on their migration from Pakistan on division of India and Pakistan due to the two religion theory. |
