| Casual, need based workers of PDD go on pen-down strike | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 10: All Jammu Province Casual/ Need Based Workers Union of Power Development Department (PDD) began pen-down strike from today.
According to press release, under the supervision of State President Akhil Sharma, Jammu Province President Shesh Kumar, Vice President Jammu Province Sham Sharma and General Secretary Sanjeev a protest demonstration was held here today.
The unionist said that Govt, had regularized 1500 workers from year 1994 to 2005 list in Kashmir Provision but other hand in Jammu Provision upto 1997 year only 738 workers was list cleared. "This shows the discrimination with Jammu region and unfortunately, leaders from Jammu who sharing power with PDP, seems in deep slumber", they said, and added that 7500 Causal/Need Based workers of Kashmir Provision has get the wages from the wages head but Jammu Provision 3232 Casual/Need Based workers have not get wages from the wages Head due to the negligence of the Jammu PDD authority/Officer. |
