JAMMU, Oct 10: To clean locality and develop a healthy atmosphere, Mohalla Welfare Committee Company Bagh today organized a 'Swacchta Abhiyan' here on the occasion of ongoing Navratras. During the said drive, a number of seniors and youngsters of the locality, holding brooms and baskets in their hands, cleaned entire locality and surrounding areas.
On the occasion, Members of Mohalla Committee also spread awareness among locals regarding importance of cleanliness and hygiene, as clean environ keeps a lot of diseases away.
Urging others to maintain cleanliness at homes and surroundings, the members of the Committee pledged to keep the locality neat and clean.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included Rajeev Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Rakesh Sharma, Kapil Kumar, Pappu and Vikas. |
