One day they oppose the Kashmiri Pandit resettlement in the Valley. On another day, they oppose Amarnath yatra. Yet on another day, they oppose the Indian army, the Indian laws, the Indian institutions and what not. JAMMU, May 2: India needed a definite proof against pro-Pakistan Sued Ali Shah Geelani and it got it on April 15 and again on May 1. On April 15, another Pakistani conduit Masarat Alam organized anti-India rally near Srinagar Airport to accord welcome to Syed Ali Shah Geelani, where anti-India and pro-Pak and pro-independence slogans were raise and Pakistani flags unfurled. Geelani also addressed the rally and provoked anti-India and pro-Pakistan sentiments. Alam was ultimately rearrested under the nationalist pressure, but Geelani was allowed to go scot-free despite the fact that the nation also wanted the authorities to arrest him under the charge of sedition.

Budgam, May 2: After the alleged embezzlement of more than Rs 20 lakh under Nirmal Bharat Abhiyaan (NBA) earlier called Total Sanitation Campaign, the Khansahib BDO office in Budgam district is again under scanner as payment amounting to more than Rs 25 lakh has allegedly been drawn in lieu of the works which do not exist on ground. These works were executed under MGNREGA in Dreygam village of Khansahib block.
The alleged NBA scam on which Early Times carried a detailed report a few days back was also related to Dreygam.

SRINAGAR, May 2: A premier organization of traders of Kashmir valley has given a call for Kashmir Bandh on May 5 against the government indifference to the compensation of flood affected people and the traders.
The traders have also decided to carry out a sit-in in support of their demands. They will assemble at the Budshah Chowk on May 5 and lodge protests against the alleged government apathy in rehabilitating the flood affected people.
