Threatened by applicant, JKSIC directs SSP Jammu to lodge FIR | | | Sumit Sharma Jammu, Sept 25: Jammu and Kashmir State Information Commission directed SSP Jammu to lodge FIR against one Raj Kumar son of Anant Ram of Keran, Bantalab for threatening employees of the Commission of eliminating them by any means. In its complaint lodged to the SSP Jammu the Commission through Deputy Registrar said that one Raj Kumar whose case has been heard by the Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioner Jammu and directions have also been passed in his case to the concerned authorities threatens employees of this Commission of dire consequences and even uses abusive language. Enclosing 18 leaf communication, the Commission said that Raj Kumar even calls to the employees late in the night and threatens to eliminate them. It is further alleged that Raj Kumar filed about 21 RTI applications most of which do not fall under RTI ambit. In the application he leveled serious allegations of corruption by judges. When Commission asked him that JKSIC's work is to provide information only, he lodged complaint against Commissioner with Governor and later started misbehaving with the employees of the commission. Earlier also, he threatened to the Commissioner JKSIC stating that he would use his own law if latter did not 'mend' his ways within five days. |
